The Bibliography of British and Irish History (BBIH) is an international bibliographic database covering the history of Britain, Ireland, and the British Empire from 55 BC to the present. Provided through a collaboration between the Institute of Historical Research (IHR) at the University of London and Brepols, the platform contains over 660,000 records of books, edited collections, and articles published since 1900. Offering indexing by subject, period, geography, and person, the system provides access to bibliographic citations and full-text links for publications.

Access Dates: 02.11.2026 – 02.12.2026
