The TEDU Ayse Ilıcak Library, covering an area of 1500 m2, consists of 200 students desks, 40 search terminals and a periodical section occupying a 52 m2 area. With a user-centered focus, the Library is a place where students experience the culture of learning and research first-hand and can easily access the most up-to-date and accurate information available in both print and online formats. The Library supports teaching, learning, and research at the University by providing a world-class collection of national and international resources including print books, e-books, periodicals, e-magazines, multimedia collections, and academic online databases.
To meet the research and learning needs of TEDU students, faculty, and staff, the Library provides wireless Internet access on its premises. Furthermore, all the core and supplementary materials (both print and online) used in all courses are offered to all students at TEDU. The library also offers a variety of consultation or orientation programs for new students, faculty, and staff.
The Library services and activities are executed in accordance with the University's goals. Our mission is to play an active role in the development and maintenance of the educational and research acitivites at the University; to meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff for all types of information materials; and to provide an enviroment that supports the habits of reading and knowledge production and usage.
